WSC is pleased to welcome Mrs. Karen Hodge, coordinator for PCA Women’s Ministry, and Rev. Chris Hodge, pastor of Village Seven Presbyterian Church, for an evening of engagement regarding calling, ministry, marriage, family, and boundaries. How often do you hear or say, “I’m so busy?” This seems to be a constant refrain from our own lips and those we seek to serve. Life and ministry are indeed busy. Karen and Chris have made many life and ministry decisions together throughout their decades of service. We invite you to come as they share some Scriptures, experiences, and counsel that have helped them navigate the cacophony of needs surrounding marriage, family, and ministry. We trust this will be helpful to you and to those you seek to serve.

KAREN HODGE serves as the Coordinator for PCA Women’s Ministry, where she seeks to connect women and churches to one another and to sound resources. She is also having the time of her life serving alongside her husband, pastor and best friend Chris, at Village Seven Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs. Chris and Karen have two adult children, Anna Grace Botka and Haddon Hodge. She is the host of the enCourage podcast and along with Susan Hunt, authored Transformed: Life-taker to Life-giver and Life-giving Leadership.
CHRIS HODGE is the senior pastor of Village Seven Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, CO. He is a joyful receiver of God’s grace. He is married to Karen, an amazing wife, woman, mother, leader, teacher, and friend. Karen and Chris have two grown children. Chris grew up in South Carolina but has spent his life serving Christ by loving and leading His church all over the United States. He gets excited about sharing God’s Word and investing in relationships that help others know, love, and enjoy God more through Christ. While he enjoys most sports, his favorite team is Tottenham Hotspur FC in the English Premier League.
Karen is in town for the Made for More Conference on September 27 & 28 at New Life PCA, Escondido. We are honored that she and Chris made room in their schedule to spend an evening with us. Wives of WSC students and female students are being offered a discounted admission rate for the event. Girls in third grade and up and all women are encouraged to attend!
