Summer Greek is the traditional start to each academic year at Westminster Seminary California. It is a fast-paced introduction to the Greek which students will need to learn in order to survive and thrive at seminary. A time-honored right of passage, new seminarians are given a whole semester of Greek packed into a few full weeks, allowing them to begin their other courses when the Fall term begins. This summer, Old Testament professor Dr. Joshua Van Ee will be leading the incoming class in their Greek studies, starting July 18.
As WSCal launches the new school year with Summer Greek, we invite you to join us in praying for our new students who are about to begin the monumentous task of obtaining a seminary education, for our current students who are laboring hard between studies, work, and family responsibilities, and for our seniors who are nearing the end of their time at WSCal and looking to what the Lord is calling them to next—for Christ, his gospel, and his church.
