Dawn G. Doorn joined the seminary staff in 2004. Her background includes two educational degrees (BS Univ. of Minnesota and MS Northwestern Univ. Evanston, IL), two decades of public relations, marketing and fundraising experience at other nonprofits, and having earned the international designation as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). As Vice President for Advancement she has been privileged to work alongside Presidents W.R. Godfrey and J.E. Kim and the WSC Board of Trustees to initiate and complete the largest capital campaign ($28 million) to build student housing – the Westminster Village, add many student scholarships, and increase the number of endowed faculty chairs from one to five.
