How has your seminary education been valuable in your current vocation (or any vocation since graduation)? Has it been valuable in ways you weren’t expecting?

I expected to be able to faithfully preach Christ from all of Scripture and to effectively engage the culture after my time at WSC (and by God’s grace, I have done each of those things–both in the church and in the Army). What I didn’t expect is that Horton’s classes and DVD’s conception of Natural Law–when applied to the psychological realm–would also make me an effective counselor.

What would you say to someone who is currently considering seminary education at WSC?

There are many things to love at WSC, but two things that set them apart–preparation to preach Christ from all of Scripture and that ability to effectively engage other worldviews with the Gospel. If either are your passion, I would highly recommend WSC!
