Summer Welcome Gatherings

WSA BBQ

On July 27th, the newly populated WSC Housing Village was buzzing with new students, spouses, and children as the Student Association hosted a BBQ for new students, residents, faculty and staff.

The new outdoor community patio was overflowing with conversations, games, children playing and, of course, food. Several students and families just arrived in town to begin Summer Greek. It was clear that students have come from across the country and from many parts of the world. They have come from different stages of life, church backgrounds, and skill sets.

Please do remember to pray for these students AND their families as they embark on the next few years of studying God's Word and preparing to serve Christ, His Gospel, and His Church. Please also pray for these new residents and families of the Housing Village as they grow together, support, and encourage one another.

Summer Greek also kicked off last week with a brunch for new students, faculty, and staff. With 38 students enrolled this is the second largest Summer Greek I class in the seminary’s history.
