Here you can find the schedules for our upcoming chapels, lectures, seminars, and any other spiritual enrichment opportunities happening on campus.
The spiritual life of Westminster Seminary California is nurtured by Morning Devotions on Tuesdays and Thursdays and student-advisor prayer groups on Wednesdays. Morning Devotion speakers include faculty, local pastors, missionaries, and Christian laypeople. All devotional exercises are governed by the Word of God, which remains the true guide in Christian worship and prayer, as well as in all other activities of the Christian life and life on campus. All of our Morning Devotion messages are available in the WSC Resource Center or through iTunes.
WSC also hosts various lecturers and academic convocations throughout each academic year. These events provide WSC students to hear from and interact with visiting pastors and scholars on a variety of issues of interest to theological students. To allow for extended lectures on these days, the normal course schedule is adapted to our Convocation Schedule.

Tuesdays: Guest Pastors
Thursdays: Psalms
The Psalms are “An Anatomy of all the Parts of the Soul,” according to John Calvin. Dr. W. Robert Godfrey notes how the Psalms are beautiful expressions of the great truths of the Christian faith, there are psalms for all occasions in the Christian life, and the Psalms are full of Christ. The faculty of Westminster Seminary California invites you to join us as we journey through the Psalms during our Thursday chapel devotional series. May our faith be strengthened and enriched as we explore the Psalms together.
All are welcome to attend our chapels, or they are always available on YouTube Live.
Available for students to attend each Wednesday at 10:00–10:20 a.m. during the academic year for prayer and conversation with their faculty advisor in a small group of other students. If you have any questions about your prayer group, please use the button below to contact the Dean of Students.
The Robert G. and Nellie B. den Dulk Lectures on Pastoral Ministry were endowed by friends of WSC and by the den Dulks in 1993. In appreciation for the den Dulks‘ 30-year service to the Westminster Seminaries in Pennsylvania and California and in recognition of their passion for the preparation of pastors to preach the Word of God faithfully and powerfully, WSC designated the proceeds of this endowment to bring an experienced pastor to the campus each year to encourage students and offer wise counsel regarding the rigors and joys of shepherding Christ’s flock.
Westminster Seminary California (WSC) will hold its annual Robert G. and Nellie B. den Dulk Lectures on Pastoral Ministry on Thursday and Friday, March 20 and 21, 2025. Rev. Eric Hausler is the featured speaker and will give two lectures during this series on “O Lord, Open My Eyes: From Escondido to the Edge of the Everglades.” The den Dulk Lectures are open to the public and will be livestreamed.
