On April 29, 2016 at 6:30 pm, Dr. David VanDrunen will be speaking at The Cambridge School as part of the Classical Collegium Series. His lecture, “Perceiving God’s Order: The Importance of Wisdom for Moral and Intellectual Life,” will reflect on how it really is that we come to be persuaded of moral truths and grow in moral maturity, and how we truly come to master fields of learning. He’ll suggest that a proper conception of wisdom is crucial for answering this question. He will also reflect on what wisdom is, how to understand its importance in light of broad themes in Scripture, and why it’s so important for God-glorifying moral and intellectual life.
