Westminster Seminary California is pleased to announce the keynote speaker for the 42nd Annual Commencement: Rev. David W. Hall, Ph.D.
Dr. Hall is the Senior Pastor at Midway Presbyterian Church in Powder Springs, Georgia, and is a Trustee of Westminster Seminary California. He is married to Ann and they are parents of three grown children and grandparents of eight grandchildren. He has served as the Senior Pastor of Midway Presbyterian Church (PCA) since 2003. Previously, he served as Pastor of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Oak Ridge, Tennessee (1984-2003) and as Associate Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Rome, Georgia (1980-1984).
Dr. Hall received his undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis (B. A., 1975) in philosophy. After completion of his undergraduate studies, he studied at Swiss L’Abri and then enrolled at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating in 1980. He later earned a Ph.D. in Christian Intellectual Thought from Whitefield Theological Seminary. Dr. Hall was also the Founder and a Senior Fellow of the Kuyper Institute in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The commencement ceremony is set to take place at 10 a.m. on May 27, 2023, at Escondido United Reformed Church, 1864 N. Broadway, Escondido, CA 92026.
