The Old Covenant was a visible thing —  the priests, the altar, the animals and the blood.  The New Covenant is, in many ways, an invisible reality.  But what it lacks in visibility it more than makes up for in completeness and efficacy.   Our priest became the sacrifice.  Jesus entered heaven itself for us and prepared our way with his blood.  He's there now and we await his coming again and the  consummation of our salvation.  And so we live now, expectantly and joyfully, by faith, not by sight.
