As a graduating senior in WSC’s Master of Arts in Biblical Studies program, Kendra Dahl is just weeks away from joining the ranks of our esteemed alumni. As a wife and mother of three who has completed a significant portion of her degree amidst the varied challenges brought on by a global pandemic, she is an inspiring example of the fortitude and passion for Christ and His Gospel embodied by our students, both past and present.
Kendra and her husband Jordan will join their fellow classmates on the graduation stage on May 29, 2021 as living testimonies to the Lord’s faithfulness to WSC in carrying on our privileged task of equipping men and women for service in the Church. After graduation, Kendra will continue her work as the Content Manager for Core Christianity (a branch of White Horse Inn), where she writes and edits Bibles studies, web content, and other resources dedicated to helping people grow in their Christian faith. She also looks forward to being more involved at her local church, North Park Presbyterian.
During her time at WSC, Kendra completed an independent study with Dr. Van Ee that culminated in a 60-page paper on a verse in Genesis. She has since had several opportunities to share this project with pastors and faculty members, and hopes to continue this work after completing her MAB in May. In addition to her coursework, Kendra made countless fond and unforgettable memories with fellow classmates and Westminster Village residents that she will hold dear for a lifetime. Perhaps unknowingly at times, she served as a role model and mentor for many women in the WSC community who benefited greatly from her pioneering spirit and unwavering commitment to Christ, His Gospel, and His Church. Looking back with gratitude on her journey to graduation, Kendra concludes, “It is only by the Lord’s kindness and the faculty’s unwavering support and flexibility that I have been able to finish.”
