Personal Visit Details
When to Visit
Personal visits may be scheduled on any weekday during WSC business hours (8am-4:30pm), but we recommend that you come between Tuesday-Friday during one of our academic terms (Sept-May). When you contact us, we might recommend a day based on that semester’s course schedule and your program of interest. During the summer and on breaks there are no classes, but you’ll still be able to take a tour, meet with an Admissions representative, and enjoy a personal meal with a staff or faculty member.

Prospective Student Travel Grant
At WSC, we think that an in-person visit is the best way for you to experience our campus, classes, and community firsthand. So we offer a limited number of $400 travel grants to prospective students to help cover the cost of your travel expenses to and from our campus in sunny Southern California.
These funds can be applied to one of our Seminary for a Day events, or to a personal visit which can be scheduled at any time. We would be happy to reimburse you up to $400 for a variety of travel expenses including airfare, car rental, or gas.
Contact our admissions team today to learn more about travel grant eligibility!
Lodging
Depending on current availability, we can arrange for prospective students to stay with current students, faculty, or local church members for free for up to two nights. Staying with members of the seminary community gives you an even better glimpse into life at WSC. Please email us at admissions@wscal.edu if you are interested in staying with a member of our community. There are also a number of nice hotels near campus that we are happy to recommend.
Transportation
If you plan to travel by plane, we recommend that you fly into the San Diego airport (SAN) and rent a car for the duration of your trip, especially if you want to explore beautiful Southern California while you’re here. If you just need rides back and forth from San Diego airport to campus, we would be happy to arrange for a member of the seminary community to do that for free.
Where is WSC Located?
The seminary’s address is 1725 Bear Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92027. The Office of Admissions is located in the Front Office. When you arrive to campus (from Boyle), stay to the right and you will find the seminary’s main gate. Use the callbox on your left to contact our Front Office Assistance (use the number for “Guests/Deliveries”). You will receive more specific arrival instructions via email prior to your visit. More information about our Southern California location can be found here.
