We are pleased to provide an update regarding new and familiar faculty faces coming to our classrooms this Fall.
Dr. Baugh to teach both NT 601 “Gospels & Acts” + NT 701 “General Epistles & Revelation.”
Due to Dr. Brennan’s delayed arrival from Australia, Dr. Baugh has graciously agreed to teach his regular fall course load, including “Gospels & Acts” and “General Epistles & Revelation.” Many thanks to Dr. Baugh!
Dr. Borvan to teach ST 605 “Anthropology.”
Rev. Dr. Dan Borvan was approved by the Board of Trustees this past May to serve as adjunct professor of theology for the 2019-2020 academic year. Dr. Borvan earned his D.Phil. in Theology from the University of Oxford and is a Westminster Seminary California alumnus, having earned both M.Div. and M.A.H.T. degrees in 2011. He has served churches in both the URCNA and OPC, and is currently Minister of the Word at Grace United Reformed Church in Torrance, CA. We look forward to his teaching and hope that you will give him a warm welcome.
Dr. Bishop to teach HT 501 “Introduction to Historical Theology.”
Dr. Rich Bishop was approved by the Board of Trustees this past May to serve as adjunct professor of historical theology. Dr. Bishop earned his Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia, focusing on ancient church history. He is a Westminster Seminary California alumnus, having earned his M.A. in Historical Theology in 2002. Recently, he taught a winter term elective titled “The Ascension of Christ in the Ancient Church.” We look forward to welcoming Dr. Bishop back to the classroom this fall semester.
