Named and Desired
In our task of theological education and preparation for the ministry we often sense a feeling of need, a desire for more. This desire is intended by God and fulfilled by him, as promised in the resurrection of Christ and fulfilled in our resurrection. Adam pictures this process for us in the Edenic account of his naming of the animals (Gen. 2:15ff).
