Winter Seminary for a Day

January 18, 2013

"Seminary for a day really showed me that though seminary is no easy task, it is well worth taking the journey if God calls you to it." That was one of the comments from a visitor during our prospective student visit event, Seminary for a Day. On January 18, 2013 Admissions welcomed twelve prospective student visitors from six states to campus to experience the spiritual and educational community at WSC, face-to-face. They enjoyed the winter sunshine of Southern California and participated in:

  • Campus tour
  • Faculty Q&A session
  • Class lectures and morning devotions
  • Student panel discussion

Another visitor commented on the event: "It was great to see WSC's commitment to the scriptures and the reformed confessions." Our prospective students remained on campus after the visit day to enjoy the annual faculty conference, The Whole Armor of God, on Friday evening and Saturday—listening to the plenary lectures and enjoying a Chick-Fil-A lunch with several faculty members.

The next Seminary for a Day visit event will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013.  Register now, or schedule a personal campus visit for this spring.
