The Annual den Dulk Lectures on Pastoral Ministry

April 22, 2014 – April 24, 2014

On April 22-24, 2014,  Rev. Eric R. Hausler (M.Div. ‘89) delivered the annual den Dulk Lectures on Pastoral Ministry. Rev. Hausler is a church-planting pastor for the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC) in Naples, Florida, and a graduate of WSC.

The theme for this year was "Equip the Saints!" The three lectures were titled, "Equip the Saints…with Thanksgiving and Joy," "Equip the Saints…with Forgiveness and Grace," and "Equip the Saints…with Gospel Urgency and Resurrection Hope." The three-lecture series was held in the WSC Chapel at 10am each day. Audio downloads will be available online after the event.

About the Lectures

The Robert G. and Nellie B. den Dulk Lectures on Pastoral Ministry were endowed by friends of Westminster Seminary California and of the den Dulks in 1993, when Bob den Dulk resigned as the second president of the Seminary. In appreciation for the den Dulks' 30-year service to the Westminsters in Philadelphia and California and in recognition of their passion for the preparation of pastors to preach the word of God faithfully and powerfully, Westminster Seminary California designated the proceeds of this endowment to bring an experienced pastor to the campus each year to address students preparing for the ministry of the Word and pastors engaged in ministry, for their encouragement and wise counsel regarding the rigors and joys of shepherding Christ's flock.
