Students Move into Housing

Students and their families began moving into Westminster Seminary California’s on-campus residential village in early June. While construction crews will continue to work on site throughout the summer, residents started moving in as apartments became ready. As of the end of July, 46 of the village’s 64 apartments were occupied by students from around the country and the world, including Korea, Brazil, and China. The seminary anticipates the village to be at or near full occupancy by the start of the fall semester.

While some residents have yet to arrive to campus, Westminster Village has already begun to form into a special community. Each evening children play outside together riding bikes and scooters, while adults fellowship around the fire pit and built-in barbecues in the center of the village. In addition, crews recently began to install playground equipment near the outdoor commons area. On July 27, the Westminster Student Association hosted a campus-wide barbecue at the village in order to welcome new students and their families. While fundraising for the project continues, many students and families have already been blessed by the generous support of the seminary’s friends through Westminster Village.
