On Monday, February 11, new winter and spring students and their
spouses received the “official welcome” to the WSC community
during New Student Orientation. Following a welcome from
Dr. Julius J. Kim, Dean of Students,
Dr.
Dennis E. Johnson, Academic Dean, began the Orientation with an overview of
important academic policies. Dr. Kim then provided a sketch of
the responsibilities and opportunities of student life. Students
were also reminded of various financial aid opportunities by
Financial Aid Coordinator, Heather Gideon. The formal part of
the orientation concluded with an orientation to the WSC library
conducted by Library Director,
Mrs.
Elizabeth Park.
Students ended the Orientation with introductions and
conversations with faculty and staff over lunch in the Student
Lounge. |
