On January 17, 2014, Admissions held WSC’s tri-annual prospective student visit event, Seminary for a Day. Eleven prospective student visitors were in attendance to experience the spiritual and educational community at WSC, face-to-face.
During this event, attendees participated in:
- Campus tour
- Faculty Q&A session
- Student Q&A session
- Enrollment information session
They also spent time with professors over lunch lunch, and heard morning devotions from Dr. Joshua Van Ee and a lecture on justification from Dr. John Fesko. They were then invited to attend the 2014 Annual Conference.
The next Seminary for a Day visit events will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014. Register now, or schedule a personal campus visit. More information can be found here: wscal.edu/admissions/discover-wsc/visit-wsc.
Here are some comments from students who visited:
- "My visit to Westminster was informative and graciously personal. I enjoyed hearing the comments about seminary life and academics from the different perspectives of faculty , staff, and students."
- "For me, this entire event was warm and inviting. I loved the faculty Q & A, the faculty lecture, and the student panel, which was the icing on the cake."
- "This event was very welcoming and helpful. I’m still trying to discern the call to ministry, thus going to seminary, so it was very informational for someone like myself. It was very helpful to see the campus and the library, and I hope to join WSC if I do go to seminary."
