Congratulations to the Class of 2011

On May 28, 2011, WSC sent forth 38 students to serve as pastors, teachers, missionaries, and leaders for the church and for the world. Since the first class graduated from WSC in 1982, Westminster Seminary California has sent forth nearly 900 alumni. 30 years later, WSC remains committed to the church by equipping students who are faithful to Scripture and to the Reformed confessions.

The Thirtieth Annual Commencement was held on May 28, 2011. Our speaker was W. Robert Godfrey, President and Professor of Church History. The commencement address entitled "Those Who Are Taught" from Isaiah 50:1-10 is now available online (listen to the commencement address).

The Graduation Reception was held on May 27, 2011. The event was an opportunity for students to celebrate with close friends and family, and conclude their time at Westminster Seminary California. Five graduates were chosen to give a reflection of their time at WSC (listen to their messages). Dennis E. Johnson, Professor of Practical Theology, delivered a charge to the graduates (listen to the charge to the graduates). For more photos of the event, click here.
