Torah Scrolls Unveiling and Dedication

Westminster Seminary California (WSC) is pleased to announce the unveiling and dedication of an ancient and rare Torah scroll on March 18, 2015. No longer used in Jewish worship, this authentic 400-year-old scroll will be presented as a gift to the seminary during a special convocation in the WSC Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Following the dedication, at 11:30 a.m., Dr. Scott Carroll, a leading expert in rare, biblical papyri and scrolls, will be leading a dynamic and interactive one-hour seminar.

Following the convocation, this amazing artifact will be on display permanently in the WSC Library to be viewed by the community as a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness and the enduring power of His Word.

by W. Robert Godfrey and D. G. Hart

W. Robert Godfrey and D. G. Hart tell the inspiring story of how one small seminary in the West has made a significant impact in the history of American religion by seeking to preserve and renew the teachings of the Protestant Reformation in the changing religious world of America (and the world). Quoted

"As someone who had been in pastoral ministry for eight years before coming to WSC, I greatly appreciate the M.Div. program... It's clear to me the program is put together by people who understand both the church and the people who sit in the pews."
Rev. Christopher Hartshorn (M.Div., 2014), pastor of Anaheim Hills Presbyterian Church
