Here you can find the schedules for our upcoming chapels, lectures, seminars, and any other spiritual enrichment opportunities happening on campus.
The spiritual life of Westminster Seminary California is nurtured by Morning Devotions on Tuesdays and Thursdays and student-advisor prayer groups on Wednesdays. Morning Devotion speakers include faculty, local pastors, missionaries, and Christian laypeople. All devotional exercises are governed by the Word of God, which remains the true guide in Christian worship and prayer, as well as in all other activities of the Christian life and life on campus. All of our Morning Devotion messages are available in the WSC Resource Center or through iTunes.
WSC also hosts various lecturers and academic convocations throughout each academic year. These events provide WSC students to hear from and interact with visiting pastors and scholars on a variety of issues of interest to theological students. To allow for extended lectures on these days, the normal course schedule is adapted to our Convocation Schedule.
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m. in the WSC Chapel.
Tuesdays: Guest Pastors This Spring we look forward to hearing devotionals from a variety of pastors during our Tuesday morning chapels. We hope you will be able to join us.
Thursdays: The Parables The parables of Jesus are some of the most beloved and familiar passages of Scripture and for good reason. But they are sometimes misinterpreted and misapplied. This semester our faculty will help us explore why Jesus taught in parables and examine how the parables relate to the king and his kingdom. We hope this series will be a blessing to you.
All are welcome to attend our chapels, or they are always available on YouTube Live.
Available for students to attend each Wednesday at 10:00–10:20 a.m. during the academic year for prayer and conversation with their faculty advisor in a small group of other students. If you have any questions about your prayer group, please use the button below to contact the Dean of Students.

Among the final words of Paul to his “son” Timothy was a reminder of why we do what we do in the church: “the aim of our charge is love” (1 Tim 1:5). No goal is more noble, more demanding, or more gratifying. How do we, as the church, keep our sight set on love as we carry out the ministry of Word, sacrament and discipline? How do we, as believers, faithfully carry out the stewardship of God’s grace entrusted to us so that we build one another up in love?
This year’s conference takes aim at such questions with a view to encouraging all who attend, both in their individual callings in the church and in our mutual vision for the church, to pursue purity of heart and sincerity of faith.
Beyond the edification and fellowship the Annual Conference facilitates, this year, WSCal hopes to provide an opportunity for our community to get to know our growing faculty, including the newest appointments, Dr. David E. Briones and Dr. Jason Pickard. Come, meet our new and dear colleagues, and join us for a weekend of thoughtful reflection and exhortation as we consider our callings.
