ALFRED J. POIRIER

B.A., California State University, Chico; M.A.R. and M.Div., Westminster Seminary California; D.Min, Westminster Theological Seminary.

Dr. Poirier has pastored churches for the past 25 years in San Diego, California; Eugene, Oregon; and presently serves as senior pastor at Rocky Mountain Community Church (PCA) in Montana. He is the Chairman of the Board of Peacemaker Ministries as well as one of its adjunct instructors and mediators, conducting seminars for a variety of evangelical denominations and churches.

He is the author of The Peacemaking Pastor: A Biblical Guide For Resolving Church Conflict and Words that Cut: Receiving Criticism in Light of the Gospel. He has also contributed articles to Journal on Biblical Counseling, Equip, and The Presbyterian Church in Bangladesh Publishing.
