Samuel
D. S. Ling
Visiting Professor of MissionsM.Div. and Th.M.,
Westminster Theological Seminary; Ph.D., Temple University.
Dr. Ling is the founder and director of China Horizon, an
apologetics and evangelism ministry to intellectuals in the
Chinese mainland, elsewhere in Asia, and in North America.
He has lectured widely in the United States and across the
world. He has served the Presbyterian Church in America as
the coordinator of Chinese Missions and as a consultant on
Chinese ministries in New York City, where he also served as
a church planter and pastor. Before joining Westminster
Seminary California in 1998 as a visiting professor, he
served pastorates in New York and Chicago and as the
Director of Chinese Studies at Wheaton College. He is the
author of Chinese Intellectuals and the Gospel, The
"Chinese" Way of Doing Things, Soul Searching (editor and
contributor), and over 500 essays on missiology, evangelism,
apologetics, and related topics. |
