Information to
gather before applying:
1. Personal profile: You will need personal
data, including email address, general information and emergency contact
information.
2. Academic background: You will need your
education/academic history for all colleges attended. This includes name of
institutions, exact dates of attendance and degrees earned.
3. Ecclesiastical affiliation: You will need church and/or denomination
information including name and address.
4. Essays: In this application you will need to
provide the following information: 1) Types of employment in which you have had experience, 2)
Organizations or
extra-curricular activities in which you have taken an active role, 3) A
summary of your Christian faith and commitment, and those convictions
and goals which are relevant to your desire to attend Westminster Seminary
California.
5. payment options: The online application
fee of $30.00 is processed with either a Visa or MasterCard. You will
need this payment information to submit and complete the application. If this
step is processed in error, all data will be lost.
The application fee is non-refundable, and all transcripts and documents
received by the Office of Admissions become property of WSC. We will not refund
the application fee or return original transcripts or copies of transcripts to
students.
If you should experience technical difficulty when applying online, please
send an email describing the problem to admissions@wscal.edu. A staff member of
the admissions office will respond as soon as possible.
After you complete your online application you will be directed to complete and
submit an online signature form and also the following information:
Arrange for Ecclesiastical and Academic References.
The
Ecclesiastical
Reference form should be completed by the minister or council of elders from
the church of which the applicant is a member. The
Academic Reference form
should be completed by a college/university professor under whose guidance the
applicant has received instruction. For additional information regarding
appropriate academic and ecclesiastical references please see the
academic catalogue.
Request official transcripts.
Official transcripts (sealed) of all academic work beyond high school must be
submitted as part of the completed application package. If more than one college
was attended a separate transcript from each is required. Admission may be
granted on a conditional basis if an applicant is in the process of completing
the final year of an undergraduate degree program. An official transcript
showing the attainment of the Bachelor of Arts or its academic equivalent must
be submitted before the student’s admission as a matriculated student is
finalized. |
