Samuel D. Ling

Dr. Ling joined Westminster Seminary California as a visiting professor in 1998. He is the president of China Horizon, a Reformed teaching ministry primarily serving the Chinese-speaking world. He has lectured widely in the United States and across the Pacific Rim. He has served the Presbyterian Church in America as the coordinator of Chinese Ministries and as a consultant on Chinese ministries in New York City, where he also served as a church planter. Dr. Ling pastored churches in New York and Chicago and served as the Director of Chinese Studies at Wheaton College. He is the author of Chinese Intellectuals and the Gospel; The “Chinese” Way of Doing Things; Soul Searching (editor and contributor); and more than 500 essays on missiology, evangelism, apologetics, and related topics.
