Westminster Seminary California’s financial aid program is available to provide degree-seeking students (M.A./M.Div.) with the financial resources necessary to complete their seminary education. The financial aid program is designed to supplement each student’s own financial resources (i.e. savings, family and church support, and part-time employment) through a combination of scholarships, grants and student loans. Financial aid information for new and returning students is available here.
Students are encouraged to contact to the Financial Aid Coordinator with specific questions related to financial aid.
International student questions and concerns should be directed to the Vice President for Enrollment Management. Additional information for International Students is available here: International Students
Various on and off-campus employment opportunities are provided to WSC Students through the seminary listserv and posted on the employment section of the website.
The Office of Admissions is available to assist new and returning students in finding suitable accommodations by providing informative resources on housing opportunities in the community. These opportunities include rooms, houses, or apartments for rent in Escondido and elsewhere in San Diego County.
Due to the inherent financial risks in the event of a student’s or a family member’s accident or illness, WSC strongly encourages all students and their dependents to possess adequate health insurance. A health insurance plan is available to WSC students through the American College Student Association (ACSA). This plan is available to students (and their dependents) who are enrolled at WSC (minimum 3 credits per semeter) and can be purchased in 3, 6, 9 or 12 month increments. International students are required to possess medical insurance and therefore are strongly encouraged to utilize this plan. Note: these plans are effective 8/1/2012-7/31/2013:
