Westminster Seminary California is more than a beautiful ten-acre
campus in the hills of Escondido - thirty miles north of San Diego. It is more
than modern buildings designed specifically for the needs of theological
education. It is more than a fine library of over 100,000 carefully selected
titles. It is more than a school. It is a community of faith existing to glorify
God and to make the Gospel of Christ known through the church.
The Westminster community is a diverse one, composed of faculty, staff and
students from 30 denominations and 21 states as well as several ethnic groups
and over 10 foreign countries. The variety of denominations, especially among
the students, ensures an atmosphere of challenging and stimulating discussions
about theology and ministry. We value this diversity for it encourages careful
reflection and growth in faith.
More importantly, the Westminster community is a united one - united in a
profound commitment to Christ and to his Gospel as recorded in the Scriptures
and expressed in our common confessions of faith. We study his Word together,
believing that the church is best served by those who know and love that Word. |
